Having had a previous horrendous experience interning in a high-end fashion company, I was half dreading and half excited to start a new internship. After my first day of work last week, I was so relieved at how warm and friendly the environment was! So far, I have already engaged in various tasks, ranging from sewing buttons to designing jersey tops. I really felt that I had contributed to the design process instead of just sitting around and doing menial tasks. It has also been really cool to see how a company can incorporate different lines like jewelry and houseware. I’m looking forward to seeing how things go and how much more I will learn!
